The British School, New Delhi seeks an experienced Physical Education Teacher for whole school who is an outstanding practitioner in sports and physical education and has a strong understanding of both IGCSE and IB Diploma Programme levels. He/ She will be responsible for whole school PE curriculum and its delivery and implementation for students across the age range of 3-18 years, along with outstanding extracurricular provision, managing the Sports Hall and other sports facilities and working collaboratively with a large team of specialists, coaches and trainers to build on a strong programme of fitness, physical education & sports. He/ She will also develop assessments to monitor the progress of student learning and achievement; use data on student achievement to inform planning and teaching; and share relevant feedback with students, parents and external institutions. The appointee will be a post graduate in Physical Education with a teaching qualification/degree from a reputed institution and possess a minimum of 3-5 years' teaching experience in a leading international school. Experience in teaching IB and IGSCE is a requirement. A background in Primary teaching and swimming would be preferable but not essential.
