The British School, New Delhi seeks a Drama and English teacher to teach students across secondary school. The ideal candidate will be willing to teach middle school and familiar with the demands of the IGCSE as well as the IB Diploma Programme. The appointee will have the ability to collaborate and develop the curriculum in such a way that is stimulating and challenging for students of all abilities and engages them in varied learning activities. They will also develop assessments to monitor the progress of student learning and achievement; use data on student achievement to inform planning and teaching; and share relevant feedback with students and parents when required.

The teacher should be able to keep pace with the demands of a changing and evolving curriculum and also keep abreast with 21st century pedagogy. The teacher should be able to use and integrate technology in their teaching as well as use IT in communicating with students, parents and colleagues.

The appointee must be a post graduate in Drama and/or English with a teaching qualification/degree from a reputed institution. A minimum of 3 years teaching experience in IB and IGSCE in a leading international school is preferable. Excellent spoken and written English is a must for this position.
