The British School, New Delhi seeks an Economics and Business Teacher to teach both subjects in the IGCSE as well as IB Diploma Programme. The appointee will have the ability to collaborate and develop Economics and Business programme that is both stimulating and challenging and engages students of all abilities. They will also develop assessments that monitor the progress of student learning and achievement; produces coherent feedback for students, parents and external institutions; and informs teaching and learning. The teacher should be able to keep pace with the demands of a changing and evolving curriculum and also keep abreast with 21st century pedagogy. The teacher should be able to use and integrate technology in their teaching as well as use IT in communicating with students, parents and colleagues. The Economics and Business teacher will be a member of the Secondary School Human Sciences Team and will report to the Curriculum Leader for Human Sciences. The appointee will be a postgraduate in Economics with a teaching qualification/degree from a reputed institution plus a minimum of 3 years teaching experience in a leading international school.
