The British School, New Delhi seeks an experienced teacher of Hindi for Upper Primary, Middle Years and Secondary School. The appointee will have the ability to collaborate and develop Hindi language programmes that are both stimulating and challenging to engage students of all abilities. They will also develop assessments to monitor the progress of student learning and achievement; use data on student achievement to inform planning and teaching; and share relevant feedback with students, parents and external institutions. The Hindi teacher will also ensure that all students progress well under their care. The teacher should be able to keep pace with the demands of a changing and evolving curriculum and also keep abreast of 21st century pedagogy. The teacher should be able to use and integrate technology in their classroom practice as well as use IT effectively to communicate with students, parents, and colleagues. The Hindi teacher will be a member of the Secondary School Modern Foreign Language (MFL) Team and will report to the Curriculum Leader for MFL. The appointee will be a post-graduate in Hindi with a teaching qualification/degree from a reputed institution and possess a minimum of 3 years teaching experience in a leading international school.
